I remember reading these questions a few months back and being astounded by people getting the harder ones without a blink of the eye.
I think knowledge of award-winning books is bread and butter for the top quizzers. I’m talking beyond Nobel Prizes and Booker prizes, into things like translations awards.
Take as an example “Convenience Store Woman” by Sayaka Murata which won the Akutagawa Prize in 2016 and came up in a recent World Quiz Championship.
